  17. <p>     THANKS, BUT OUR MACHINES STILL WORK. South Korean
  18. authorities continue to uncover secret invasion tunnels
  19. believed to have been dug by North Korea under the
  20. Demilitarized Zone that has separated the two republics since
  21. 1953. So when South Korea's Hyundai Construction Co. announced
  22. that it was making a donation to North Korea, the nature of
  23. the benevolence raised some eyebrows: a bulldozer, an
  24. excavator, a forklift, a loader and a dump truck. The North
  25. Koreans passed on the offer.
